Start by mapping the deliverable from input to acceptance. Mark which steps are deterministic, which require judgment, and which contain sensitive information. AI is often useful for first-pass organization, alternative drafts, summarization, formatting, and consistency checks. Humans should make final decisions about facts, brand voice, confidential material, and whether the output actually solves the client's need.
Build a delivery packet for each project: the approved brief, source list, prompt or workflow version, draft outputs, review checklist, and final files. Keep client data only in tools the client has approved. If a tool's data practices are unclear, use sanitized examples or ask before uploading anything. Never treat a fluent answer as evidence that a claim is correct.
Review in layers. First check completeness against scope, then verify facts and calculations against sources, then review tone, usability, accessibility, and file quality. Record client feedback as a reusable rule for the next version. The result is faster delivery because the process is controlled, not because review was skipped.
